01 — Technological Progress

PlatON

PlatON version 1.5.1 has adapted to the latest features of the Ethereum network. Full synchronization testing, snap synchronization testing, GC testing, and offline pruning development self-testing have been completed, along with the addition and repair of unit tests. The version is now in the internal testing phase.

TopWallet

The ecosystem wallet TopWallet version 1.4.4 has been released, introducing a new KYC (Know Your Customer) process and an optimized eSIM product library.

The new KYC process is designed to ensure compliance for the next phase of development, including country code–based payments in certain Southeast Asian markets, new remittance corridors, and offline retail payment scenarios.

In the future, TopWallet will provide important support for retail payments within the PlatON ecosystem.

TOPOS Cross-Border Remittance System

The business is steadily progressing, with nearly 2 million USD in remittance transactions completed in August. Efforts are underway to establish remittance channels in Ghana, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

TOPOS On-Chain Payment System

The POS terminal experience has been optimized. Collaborating with retail payment institutions such as Flyo, PaymentAsia, and Minsec, we have tested and validated technical solutions that support stablecoin payments at retail terminals. Leveraging PlatON’s high-speed block production characteristics, we have validated and demonstrated the immense potential of stablecoin payments in retail scenarios.

PlatON Attends WebX 2025, Sharing a New Vision for Blockchain Payments

On August 25–26, PlatON attended WebX 2025, Asia’s leading crypto event hosted by CoinPost. During the conference, TOPOS VP Tan Siang delivered a keynote speech titled “Reimagining Payments for the New Digital Age — Instant, Borderless, and Built on Blockchain Technology,” sharing forward-looking insights. PlatON looks forward to leveraging this opportunity to engage in-depth with global builders, innovators, and industry leaders to collaboratively shape a new blueprint for payments.

PlatON Showcases at WebX FinTech EXPO, Co-creating a New Digital Financial Ecosystem

On August 22, PlatON participated in the WebX FinTech EXPO held by SBI Group in Osaka, Japan, partnering with TOPOS to showcase the next-generation enterprise-grade on-chain payment and clearing technology solutions, aimed at promoting deep integration and innovative practices between traditional finance and the digital economy.

PlatON Ecosystem Wallet TopWallet Launches Stablecoin Exchange Services for PHP/NGN Cross-Border Remittances

The PlatON ecosystem wallet TopWallet has launched a cross-border remittance service allowing users to exchange USDT for Philippine Pesos (PHP) and Nigerian Naira (NGN). Designed as a Web3 retail wallet for everyday payments and novice users, TopWallet enables users to conveniently send, receive, and exchange USDT. It also offers one-click purchasing of global eSIM data packages, along with flexible wealth management features for USDT. To celebrate the launch, the platform is running a special eSIM cashback promotion.
