01 — Technological Progress
PlatON
The PlatON 1.5.1 version is adapted to the iterative new features of the Ethereum network, with full synchronization testing, snapshot synchronization testing, garbage collection (GC) testing, and validation in the internal testing environment has been completed. A new development network has also been set up, which will soon be accessible to the community and developers in the future.
TopWallet
1）The development of TopWallet version 1.4.6 has entered the testing phase, with newly added support for country code payments in Singapore and the Philippines. It is scheduled to be officially released and made available to users in October.
2）Support for country codes such as Vietnam and Brazil is also under development, with continuous efforts to enhance TopWallet’s compatibility with scan-to-pay systems in various countries.
TOPOS Cross-Border Remittance System
1）By the end of September, the TOPOS Cross-Border Remittance System had completed a remittance transaction volume of 3 million USDT. The Nigeria remittance channel is already officially operational, while the Ghana channel is in the final testing phase and is expected to go live in October.
2）Remittance channels for Malaysia, India, Thailand, and Vietnam are currently under negotiation and will gradually enter the research and development integration phase as planned.
TOPOS On-Chain Payment System
1）The multi-chain payment gateway has newly integrated exchange wallets such as GatePay and KuCoin Pay.
2）A new POS agent collaboration interface has been developed, supporting agent partnership functions such as API-based account opening. We are conducting customized development with POS promotion partners to drive the use of stablecoin acquiring in the offline retail payment market. This leverages the high-speed and low-cost features of the PlatON network to optimize the user experience for stablecoin retail payments.
LATEX
The development of the PROP DEX system based on PlatON has officially commenced, focusing on providing high-speed on-chain exchange services for the stablecoin FX market. The first phase will support high-speed on-chain exchanges of PlatON-native stablecoins, including USDT, USDC, XSGD, XUSD, and PHPC.

PlatON Founder Sun Liling Gives Joint Interview to Leading Japanese Media CoinPost and CoinDesk Japan: Building a ‘Payment Highway’ Connecting Traditional and Digital Finance
Recently, Mr. Sun Lilin, founder of PlatON, participated in a joint interview with leading Japanese blockchain media outlets CoinPost and CoinDesk Japan. In the interview, he elaborated on the strategic vision of creating a “Payment Highway” aimed at building a “Web3-era Visa,” while also sharing insights into PlatON’s technological roadmap and business developments in the global payment infrastructure sector.
Sun Lilin emphasized that PlatON is providing comprehensive solutions for financial institutions and payment service providers through its open payment and clearing system, Topos. The platform’s business has already expanded to markets such as Singapore, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, collaborating with multiple licensed institutions on cross-border remittance initiatives. He expressed particular optimism about the potential of the Japanese market, noting that it is well-positioned to become a hub for Web3 financial infrastructure in Asia. Moving forward, PlatON will continue to adhere to a prudent and compliant approach, actively fostering the deep integration of traditional finance and the digital economy.

Merkle Science and PlatON Form Strategic Partnership to Build a New Ecosystem for Blockchain Security and Compliance
PlatON has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Merkle Science, a leading predictive crypto risk and intelligence platform. Merkle Science will provide PlatON with two key areas of support: first, professional on-chain data analysis services, leveraging a real-time analytics engine that covers over 10,000 crypto assets and 200 cross-chain bridges, to enable comprehensive monitoring of on-chain transactions and fund flows on PlatON, accurately identifying potential risks such as hacking attacks and financial violations; second, full-cycle compliance assurance for stablecoins, utilizing an AI-powered behavioral rule engine to proactively detect suspicious wallet addresses and anomalous activities, helping PlatON achieve preemptive risk control in compliance.
As an open Web3 infrastructure focused on payment and clearing, this collaboration will strengthen the compliance foundation of PlatON’s enterprise-grade on-chain payment and clearing technology solutions, providing stronger safeguards for ecosystem participants.

The inaugural Chinese episode of StraitsX’s latest podcast, “The Future of Stable Money,” featured a special guest, PlatON founder Sun Lilin, who engaged in an in-depth dialogue with StraitsX CEO Tianwei. The two explored the evolutionary path from traditional payments to Web3 payments, delving into the critical role of stablecoins in solving cross-border payment challenges and building a new generation of financial infrastructure. They also shared strategic insights on leveraging blockchain technology and open networks to advance the development of a compliant global payment system.
PlatON Co-hosts “Scaling Institutional Payments with Agentic AI and Stablecoins” Roundtable with StraitsX and Google Cloud
On September 29, PlatON joined forces with StraitsX and Google Cloud to host a Token2049 side event titled “Scaling Institutional Payments with Agentic AI and Stablecoins.” The forum examined how AI and stablecoins are unlocking new frontiers in institutional payments, delving into the evolution of on-chain real-world assets (RWA), the impact of emerging regulatory frameworks, and key corporate applications ranging from cross-border settlements to liquidity management and treasury automation.
