PlatON, Solution of Trusted Computing in Next-generation Big Data Era

On Jun.15, 2019, Tom Tang, CIO of PlatON, was invited to attend the ‘Insight, New Trend of Data Commerce — Business Seminar of Trusted Computing’ hosted in Hangzhou. As one of the speakers in the seminar, Tom shared his opinion about the challenges on the way to data commerce when applying Trusted Computing in big data industry and the solution focus on the challenges PlatON provides.

‘Trusted Computing aims at protecting the privacy of data when performing the computing. Currently, both internet giants like Baidu, Alibaba, Tercent and entities in traditional industries including chemical, biological Pharmaceutical, health care, etc. own a huge mass of data in its own industry and some specific fields. Thus, with the development of big data, we are completely entered into the times of big data’ Tom shared his opinion in the round table discussion section.

Privacy big data is a part of the next-generation big data, and the combination of privacy big data and the next-generation helps building a completed commercial closed loop. Secure computing can be performed on data in all industries to deeply dig the true value. Both enterprises and individuals that own regular data and sensitive privacy data are all parts of borderless computing to solve the border problem and privacy preserving problem of data efficiently while meet all the requirements of law and regulations.
